I am a librarian-turned-records-manager who loves new technology and teaching. All opinions voiced here are my own and do not reflect the opinions or policies of my employer or any other group.
I'm from the Midwest in the United States.
My educational background is in information science and technology, and I have graduate degrees in both library science and information systems.
My library work experience includes university, public, and special libraries, and my library expertise is focused on research and reference librarianship and library instruction.
I have records management work experience in the private sector and Federal government worlds. I have done everything from records inventories to records scheduling to inactive records management. I have taught classes, looked through boxes, handled records destruction, and implemented an electronic records management system.
I'm currently working as a records manager and trainer. I'm particularly interested in online teaching and learning and in emerging technologies.
All opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my current employer, any previous employers, or any other group.
